Anne Springs Close Greenway is a natural preserve more than twice the size of Central Park. Minutes south of Charlotte in Fort Mill, SC, its 2,100 acres serve as a natural buffer from urban development and provide a wide-open space for countless activities - from hiking, biking and horseback riding to picnics, kayaking and more. As a non-profit organization, it depends on memberships, program fees and private donations to support its operations. Main entrances include Lake Haigler, Adventure Road, Dairy Barn and Blue Star, all of which provide information and trail maps. Great location for trekking, biking, hanging out, eating at the canteen taking canoes out on Lake Hagler. It is one of the great green spaces of Fort Mill.
