The Lake Hickory Trails, located in Hickory, NC, offer a popular and diverse mountain biking experience for both locals and visitors. Reopened in 2018 after a complete overhaul, these trails feature three main sections, including a beginner-friendly loop, an intermediate loop with stunning lake views, and a skills park with a large pump track and advanced jump line.
Supported by community sponsors and individual donors, the Lake Hickory Trails were built by professional trail builder Terra Tek, known for their work at Rocky Knob. With punchy climbs, great lake views, and a commitment to ongoing trail improvements, these trails provide a rewarding and enjoyable mountain biking experience for riders of all skill levels.
