The Naval War College Museum, located in historic Founders Hall in Newport, RI, serves as the corporate memory of the U.S. Navy in the region and a clearinghouse for naval history information in New England. It educates the U.S. Naval War College community, provides guidance on regional naval history and current exhibits, and assists scholarly researchers in utilizing the Museum's holdings.

Originally a former Newport Asylum for the Poor, the Museum's building, now known as Founders Hall, is a National Historic Landmark and home to the Naval War College Museum.
