Wow, Kings Park....we used to swim there as kids. It looks as though it has been upgraded a bit and looks really nice. As kids we would spend every summer afternoon there with a picnic lunch....

Great views, lots of parking, grassy area, playground, gazebo. Gorgeous typically quiet spot in Newport.

Had a great day out with the kids. Pretty view of the sailboats, a nice park, a pretty clean "beach." Looks like they take care in cleaning up trash here. Bathrooms easily accessible.
