The State Theatre offers a season of professional, nationally touring productions in our historic theatre, originally opening in 1922 as a movie palace and vaudeville house. We offer a classic film series, concerts and many special events. Tours of the beautiful, Thomas Lamb designed theatre are available during business hours, Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM.

Went to see Chonda Pierce last night and had seats in the top balcony area. People were leaving by the dozens because the sound was so bad inside the theater at that level that your couldn't hear...
