The Pennsy Trail in Havertown, PA is a popular walking and biking trail that stretches through the heart of Haverford Township. With a longer north segment running through Brookline up to Oakmont and a shorter southern segment in Llanerch, the trail offers access to various points of interest, including Veterans Field, Princeton Road, and the Llanerch Shopping Center.
Originally cleared and surfaced with woodchips, the trail was later transformed into a wider, accessible, and bikeable macadam trail, thanks to the efforts of many organizations and volunteers. The trail's signature Tuscan Red color, reminiscent of the Pennsylvania Railroad, adds to its charm. Plans are underway to further enhance the trail by constructing a new bridge across Manoa Road, connecting the Llanerch section to other attractions in the area.

Just a simple, clean and paved local trail for your mornings or afternoon walks. Got even better now since extension from YMCA to Manoa shopping center parking lot.

Really nice trail generally shared by walkers, leashed dogs, joggers, strollers and an occasional bike! Early mornings or at dusk pretty common to see fox along the trail. It's expanding across...

Great 1 mile trail for a walk or run. The trail goes from the YMCA to Manoa Road, and is going to be expanded later in 2021.
