Chester Creek Trail is a scenic rail-trail located in central Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Stretching along the historic Chester Creek Branch line of the Pennsylvania Railroad, the trail offers a 2.8-mile section through Middletown and Aston townships, with plans for further expansion. Visitors can enjoy picturesque views of Chester Creek, as well as diverse landscapes including woods, cliffs, farmland, and glimpses of neighboring residential and industrial areas.
As a proud member of the Circuit, a 750-mile network of bicycle and pedestrian trails in the Greater Philadelphia Region, Chester Creek Trail provides a valuable connection for outdoor enthusiasts. With limited parking currently available, future phases of the trail are being planned to accommodate more visitors. The trail is maintained by Friends of the Chester Creek Branch, a registered 501c3 charitable organization, and relies on community support for maintenance and improvements.

Great running/bike/walk path! From what I saw, there are a couple designated parking lots which made it accessible. The parking lot was very full, but I guess that is to be expected on a Sunday...
We are LOVING this new trail - it's right down the street from our house and we have definitely been making good use of it! Kudos to the people that made this trail happen!
Great trail! However it is so hard to find parking and the gps directions don't work!
Beautiful paved trail with shade along chester creek. We walked from Mt Alverno road entrance over to Lenni. It was fun to cross Pennell Road on the former train track. Creek views are nice too
