Founded in 1941, Camp Men-O-Lan is one of the oldest operating Mennonite camps in North America. The camp is located on more than 150 acres of land and includes over 10 cabins that house up to 16 campers each, a dormitory, swimming pool, lake, gymnasium and a planned trail system. It has various recreational facilities that include outdoor lighted sand volleyball and basketball courts, obstacle course, ball fields, nature trails, campfire sites and playgrounds. In addition, it offers fishing, paddle boats and canoes, high- and low-ropes challenge courses, zip line, water slides, and climbing and rappelling tower. Camp Rainbow, established in 1951 by the Harold G. Knight Foundation, is a nonprofit organization located in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania, dedicated to providing deserving children from Montgomery County a week-long overnight summer camping experience at little or no cost to their families. The camp serves children aged 7 to 15 who are enrolled in public or charter schools and qualify for the USDA Free or Reduced Lunch Program, fostering a sense of community and personal growth through various activities.
