At Direct Care Physicians of Pittsburgh (DCPP), were proud to do things differently. Our physician-owned practice follows the Direct Primary Care (DPC) approach, allowing us to spend all the time and energy necessary to educate patients on their bodies, be there when they need us, and help them to make decisions about their health in which they feel comfortable and confident. Most importantly, we practice preventative care, focusing on testing and lifestyle guidance to help patients be as healthy as possible before they get sick.

Dr. Loughner is board-certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy. She is a Pittsburgh native who was born and raised in Leechburg. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Allegheny College in Erie, then attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine at Seton Hill University in Greensburg. She completed her Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency through Virginia Commonwealth University at Riverside in Newport News, VA. Dr. Loughner is one of few osteopathic physicians in the Pittsburgh area who incorporates Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) into her practice. OMT is a hands-on manual treatment used for a variety of conditions that reduces pain, increases mobility, and promotes healing through gentle manipulation of the soft tissues, muscles, and joints.
