Mon Yough Community Services, also known as MYCS, is a mental health outpatient facility that offers counseling and recovery-based programs. Founded in 1969, the facility specializes in case management, residential and vocational services. It also offers drug and alcohol-treatment programs, which include HIV testing and counseling services. The facility s community living services provide residential care for developmentally disabled individuals. Mon Yough Community Services participates in various community projects. It is also a member of the Mental Health Association, the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association and the American Association on Mental Retardation. Mon Yough Community Services employs more than 300 people and is located in McKeesport, Pa.

Venango Training & Development Center, established in 1973, provides a wide range of rehabilitative and day programs in coordination with the mental health and mental retardation administrations in Venango, Forest, Clarion, Crawford, Clearfield and Jefferson counties in Pennsylvania. The center also contracts with the North Central Work Force Investment Youth Council for its services. It employs more than 100 regular staff and over 280 trainees. The center utilizes the person-centered approach in all its programs and develops a plan for each trainee who receives training in its sheltered workshops or life skills habilitation programs. The center is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, Office of Mental Retardation and the Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division.
