Without exception, Dr. Copperman is a great doctor and his nurses and front staff are always polite and efficient. I'm really surprised at the one star reviews saying Dr. Copperman doesn't care...

Wonderful. I've been going to this clinic for over 20 years. I feel valued. While too many providers just follow the medical algorithms mechanically, the doctors here exercise excellent...

I'd leave zero stars if I could. I saw Jan Litz, and my son saw Dr. Copperman. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE RECEIVED ANYWHERE. AND THE WORST 'HEALTHCARE' AS WELL-though I'm hesitant...

Friendly front staff, knowledgeable professionals - I don't understand why people had bad experiences. 4 stars because I've only been there twice.

HistoryI have been a practicing physician for 30+ years, and have been involved in pain treatment for the past 15 years. Currently I am vice-president of the Pain Society of Oregon, and participate in training other docs on how to deal with pain in their patients. I have extensive background in Occupational Medicine, which is what I am boarded in, and have run Occ Med departments at The Corvallis Clinic, PeaceHealth in Eugene and for Kaiser Permanente in Maui, HI. My initial training was in The Netherlands where I became a Family Practitioner. Our training included such topics as nutrition, addiction and mental health. Like many Dutch Docs, being on call sometimes meant riding a bike to patients' homes to serve them. All our trainings centered on the patients. When I moved to the United States in 1981 I took another residency in Occupational Medicine at the University of Illinois. I recently left Pain Management Partners in Eugene to start my own solo micro-practice.SpecialtiesAs a European and American trained physician, I blend techniques and combine the tools of scientific medicine with the arts of healing. My specialty is pain prevention and non-invasive management of chronic pain, with the goal of supporting optimal function, mobility and health in my patients. My doctor bag includes medications - when appropriate--along with acupressure, and trigger point injections to break up scar tissue and myofascial pain. I consider myself one member of
