History

The owner of the studio, Rachel Lidskog-Lim, named her original business 2 Dance with Joy, because her dancing and teaching brought her and her students great joy! :) 29 years later, DANCE with JOY STUDIOS' mission is to be a positive force in your world by adding joyful moments to your day! Our programs are designed to support success for students of all levels, in an inspiring and encouraging atmosphere. Offering daily activities that enrich the mind, body and spirit, we provide a wide variety of educational, cultural and physical activities for students of all ages. We offer excellent instruction in a community of passionate students and professionals who make it their goal to experience greater health and well being, present moment connection and joy, sharing the art of movement and music, fun and friendship. We are a movement art and activity center dedicated to making the world better one smile at a time!

DANCE with JOY STUDIOS has over 100 classes, events, and workshops every week made up of over 35 dance styles, fitness classes, and wellness activities. DANCE with JOY STUDIOS' mission is to be a positive force in your world by adding joyful moments to your day, enriching the mind, body and spirit, by providing educational, cultural and physical activity to individuals of all ages. Our programs are designed to support success in an inspiring atmosphere for students of all levels in their chosen areas of interest. We offer great instruction in a community of passionate students and professionals who make it their mission to enjoy life through dance and the arts. Dance classes and activities include Ballroom, Latin, West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop & EC Swing, Salsa, Bachata, Country, Hustle, Night Club, Argentine Tango, Hip Hop, Pilaties, Yoga, NIA, Zumba, Burlesque, Children's Ballroom & Theater Programs, Tap Dance, Singing, Knitting, Arts & Crafts and more! :)
