Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation

Youth at Heart is a nonprofit organization formed in 2003 by the merger of Destination Discovery and Helping Hands of Tulsa. It provides cultural and educational after-school and summer programs that offer alternatives to idleness, vandalism, school truancy, drug use and gang-related activities. The agency s program serves youths between the ages of 6 and 18 who live in Tulsa s public housing communities and low-income apartment complexes. Additionally, it organizes various recreational activities, such as summer camps, field trips and events, as well as offers lunch and snacks. Youth at Heart manages more than eight recreation centers. It also publishes online newsletters and is located in Tulsa, Okla.
