Family medicine kind of chose me. I thought for sure I was going to do pediatrics, and then I did my two family medicine rotations and I was like, nope, that's it. I like seeing all the different age groups. It's a really unique specialty because you have the time and ability to sit down and actually get to know the patients and build that rapport. That benefits their care because you're able to do what's best for that person as an individual.

I chose family medicine because it's amazing. I care for patients of all ages, from babies to seniors, and I love being part of their entire family's health journey. Family medicine keeps me on my toes?each day brings diverse cases, from well visits for newborns to procedures and geriatric care. I value shared decision-making with my patients, ensuring we discuss all options to create a personalized, affordable, and comfortable care plan.
