Family medicine kind of chose me. I thought for sure I was going to do pediatrics, and then I did my two family medicine rotations and I was like, nope, that's it. I like seeing all the different age groups. It's a really unique specialty because you have the time and ability to sit down and actually get to know the patients and build that rapport. That benefits their care because you're able to do what's best for that person as an individual.

From a young age, many influences in my life have demonstrated how medicine was not only a calling, but a ministry. In the same way, I strive to serve my patients by providing compassionate care while demonstrating Christ's love. I value patient education and empowering patients in their own care. I consider it a privilege to be able to take care of patients and their families in every stage of life.
