Best, founder of the nearby Best Sand Corporation, who built its 30-acre lake because of his interest in waterfowl, is home to a rich diversity of plant and animal life. Three trails total 1.6 miles.

A nice peaceful park with several walking trails. The main loop is well paved and circles around a lake with plenty of wildlife and birds. There are facilities on the premises too.

Good - nice easy park for walking and birdwatching Bad - another park that doesn't enforce/ticket dog leash rules so you can expect to run into off leash dogs. I've never seen a Geauga Parks...

I hiked here once. I didn't see much wildlife and it was crowded. The lake and meadows were pretty, and I saw a huge common snapping turtle. Never again.
