Located in the heart of Ohio s snow belt, the ski and snowboard slopes at Alpine Valley Ski Area await the sportsmen and women of the winter. Alpine Valley Ski Area provides a venue for skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing. The company also features its Xtreme Park, including a half pipe and rails for the experienced and adventure-seeking riders. The slopes are carved through woodland trails. The half pipe is Ohio s largest and includes a snowboard lift. The snowtubing slope provides a form of winter outdoor entertainment for those that aren t ready to ski or snowboard. Alpine Valley Ski Area is situated in a heavy-snow region, but also utilizes snowmaking machines whenever the temperature drops below 28 F. Alpine Valley Ski Area also provides indoor amenities, such as the Chalet, a full-service cafeteria, and also has the Final Run Lounge, an onsite pub with an adjoining outdoor observation deck.
