Scarlet Oaks Retirement Community

Established in 1867, Scarlet Oaks Retirement Community is a rehabilitation and health care unit located in Cincinnati. It consists of more than five buildings that provide housing and various other services. It is spread over an area of more than 40 acres and consists of a health care center, chapel, over 70 beds, library and a computer center. It also offers an on-site bank, beauty salon and barbershop. Its health center provides more than 60 private accommodations and one- and two-bedroom apartments for independent and assisted living. Its activities include planned excursions to museums, plays and shopping trips, on-site concerts, themed dinner parties, cards and Bingo. The community s therapy department offers treatment for strokes, wound care, chronic pain and amputation. Scarlet Oaks Retirement Community is owned and operated by the Deaconess Long Term Care, a member of Deaconess Associations.
