Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley Food Pantry offers emergency food assistance to individuals who reside in poor urban neighborhoods. It assists more than 13,000 senior citizens, transitional welfare recipients, and single high-needs and temporarily unemployed individuals every year. Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley Food Pantry also provides professional case management services. It is funded by private foundations, corporate programs and individual donors. The food pantry is a part of Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley, which is a nonprofit agency that is approved by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children. Eastway Corporation is one of the largest, private, nonprofit providers of behavioral health care, housing and employment services in the Miami Valley area in Ohio. The center serves more than 7,500 adults, children and families throughout Montgomery County in Ohio. It has been operating for more than 50 years in Dayton, Ohio. Eastway Corporation is a partner with the Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board for Montgomery County and the Family and Children First Council of Montgomery County.
