The Elizabeth Scott Community, founded in 1949, is a family owned and operated nursing home that offers assisted living and long-term care services. It offers meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation and maintenance services. The community conducts regular health screenings for blood pressure, weight and blood sugar. Its amenities include an exercise room, hair salon, heated in-ground swimming pool, individual garden areas, landscaped walkways and lakeside sitting areas. In addition, the community offers a second level of assisted living for those individuals who require nursing services, such as personal care, medication administration, dietary consultation and assistance with ambulation. It offers various services for residents, such as assistance in daily living activities, well-balanced meals and snacks, laundry services, including personal as well as flat linen and towel service, weekly housekeeping and private transportation to doctor appointments. It additionally provides medication monitoring and reminders, nurse consultation for minor health concerns and monthly wellness assessments. Its apartment includes an emergency alert system, bathroom, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, wall-to-wall carpeting, curtains and sheers, telephone, cable and television hookup.
