Erie County Engineering Division

Erie County Department of Environmental Services offers cost-effective public environmental utility services to the citizens of Erie County, Ohio. The department provides complete landfill and recycling services and provides information on bills and water and sewer rates. The department additionally provides wastewater treatment, after hours emergency water service and sewer and drain cleaning. It provides sewer permits for institutional, residential and commercial buildings. It conducts a variety of recycling and waste reduction programs for solid waste and litter prevention and provides brochures and sets up displays at places, including Vermilion YMCA, Senior Center in Sandusky, Erie County Fair, Berlin Heights and Milan Libraries. The department is located in Huron, Ohio.
