Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, the Raleigh Water Tower is a historic building that served as the city's first water tower from 1887 to 1924. Originally used as the headquarters for the North Carolina Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, it was later purchased by the law firm of Shirley Adams and now houses the franchise management company for Smithfield's Chicken 'N BBQ.
With its distinctive Colonial Revival architectural style, the Raleigh Water Tower is a designated Raleigh Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The tower has been repurposed over the years, most recently as the location for an escape room experience and the offices of Gammon, Howard Zeszotarski, PLLC, a law firm specializing in litigation.
