Lenoir High School in Lenoir, North Carolina, is a historic high school complex and national historic district that was designed by the architectural firm Benton Benton in 1922. The two-story Classical Revival-style brick school features cast stone detailing and an original stone retaining wall, with a band building added in 1935-1937 and an additional wing in 1962.
After closing its doors in 1977 and serving as Willow St Middle School until 1981, the property was transformed into a senior housing facility in 1989. Notable alumni include composer Claude Baker, former U.S. Senator Jim Broyhill, and MLB catcher Rube Walker, among others.
