The Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) is a historical and heritage organization dedicated to preserving the legacy of Confederate soldiers and their contributions during the 1861-1865 period. Founded in 1896, the SCV is the oldest hereditary organization for male descendants of Confederate veterans, promoting a true understanding of Southern history while adhering to principles of non-political and non-sectarian ideals.

With a commitment to education, heritage defense, and fostering a sense of community among its members, the SCV honors the memory of those who fought for their beliefs and strives to ensure that their stories are passed down to future generations. Through various programs and initiatives, the organization seeks to uphold the values and principles that shaped their historical context.
