KOA Campground

Way atop the mountain out of Boone is this wonderful KOA campground. At 4,000 feet it's a climb but my little buggy chugged up the windy road like the little engine that could. Easy...

The camground is far away from road noise but the incessant barking dogs spoil it for everyone. I wish KOA would inforce their dog rules.

Always a great time. Affordable, basic rustic cabin. Been so many times I've lost count.
