Located in Chapel Hill, N.C., Health Sciences Library manages materials for the advancement of health care options. The library provides information and knowledge and educates users to manage and creates and maintains integrated educational systems. Health Sciences Library conducts and promotes research in information and library science. It is the primary library for UNC-Chapel Hill Schools of Dentistry, UNC-Chapel Hill Schools of Medicine, UNC-Chapel Hill Schools of Nursing, UNC-Chapel Hill Schools of Pharmacy and UNC-Chapel Hill Schools of Public Health and the University of North Carolina Hospitals. The library also serves the health information needs of the entire university. Health Sciences Library serves the state s health professionals through the Area Health Education Centers Library and Information Services Network. The library s collections includes over 290,000 volumes that further include recent and historical materials, as well as more than 4,000 current serial titles and over 8,900 audiovisual and microcomputer software programs.

Founded in 2000, Carol Grotnes Belk Library offers a range of books, periodicals, journals and audio tapes. The library features more than 100 computers and over 40 wireless laptops. It provides access to nearly 140 online databases. Carol Grotnes Belk Library also features group study rooms. The library supports the Elon University community through a range of educational services and programs. It operates physics, psychology, music, mathematics, English, engineering and physical therapy departments. The library additionally offers interlibrary loan programs. It operates a nonprofit organization, Friends of the Library, which was founded in 1983 and supports library goals through fundraising and advocacy services. Carol Grotnes Belk Library provides reference materials and magazines on news, literature, business, science, health and history.

The Ford Library at the Fuqua School of Business houses the principal business collection of Duke University. We serve the Fuqua School of Business and Duke University communities — students, faculty, and staff — and are also open for limited use to the general public.
