Charlotte Gastroenterology & Hepatology

The Matthews Free Medical Clinic is a free medical clinic in which volunteer physicians and nurses treat low income, uninsured patients of of Matthews NC, and surrounding areas, including Mecklenburg and Union Counties. It is a nonprofit organization funded by grants, private donations, and an annual golf tournament. Staffed by volunteer physicians and nurses, a paid nurse manager, a paid part-time clinic director, and lay people, the clinic provides well patient care, treatment of chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, and gynecological exams.

Teen Health Connection, a facility of Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center, is a partner of Atrium Health Levine Children's. Located in Charlotte, NC, our medical practice helps teens and young adults navigate their health through the adolescent years. Our services include physicals; immunizations; sick care; chronic illness prevention and management; nutrition and wellness guidance; reproductive healthcare; mental healthcare; and a gender health clinic.
