Brian M. Cable, MD

After retiring from the United States Navy in 2003, I became a physician assistant specializing in orthopedics treating various age ranges for sports-related and work-related injuries. I enjoy helping people recover from their injuries and returning to their normal lives and previous activities. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and in the outdoors.

I specialize in diagnosing and treating chronic pain through a range of minimally invasive techniques and procedures. From nerve blocks and injections to radiofrequency ablation, minimally invasive lumbar decompression, and spinal cord stimulation, I leverage a comprehensive toolkit to effectively manage and alleviate chronic pain. My diverse clinical background, alongside a cultural understanding, allows me to establish meaningful connections with each patient and to cultivate a wide network of trusted healthcare professionals across various disciplines.

I strive to practice medicine by promoting professionalism characterized by humility, empathy, accountability and resilience. I am passionate about helping active individuals of all ages, especially injured middle school, high school, college, and professional athletes get back to sports safely and quickly. I value every athlete by providing state-of-the-art operative and nonoperative treatment. My research in sports injury risk, prevention, and management allow the athletes to actively participate in their sport long term. Performing anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and knee ligament reconstructions, cartilage and meniscus transplants, and knee restoration surgery as an alternative to a total joint replacement are my areas of expertise.
