Sven Wenske, MD is a urologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley and an associate professor of urology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Wenske has been on faculty in the Department of Urology at Columbia since 2013. In March 2022, Dr. Wenske was named the Director of Urology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital and NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley. Dr. Wenske treats all urologic disorders. Well-published, Dr. Wenske has contributed his research in peer-reviewed journals, and textbook chapters, and has lectured at several national and international urologic conferences.An award-winning researcher and clinician, Dr. Wenske was the recipient of the Physician Research Training Award from the Prostate Cancer Research Program by the Department of Defense in 2013. The award funded his research on prostate cancer and the underlying resistance mechanisms to currently available drugs in the advanced settings of this disease. In December 2015, Dr. Wenske received a Prostate Cancer Hypothesis Development Grant funded by the New York State, Department of Health for a two-year period, to further his work in prostate cancer biology and treatment response to different medications.After graduating from the University of Hamburg Medical School in Germany, Dr. Wenske completed his internship and residency in urology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/ NewYork-Presbyterian. Prior to joining the department, Dr. Wenske spent three years as a urology resident at the University Hospitals in Hamburg and Bochum, Germany. He served his fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), where he investigated prostate cancer onset and progression in the laboratories of Dr. Peter Scardino and Dr. Hans Lilja in the Department of Urology. The research was funded by a grant from the German Heinrich-Hertz foundation, as well as the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Dr. Garry is an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery and a member of the hip and knee reconstruction service. He specializes in the operative and nonoperative treatment of the hip and knee in patients of all ages. Dr. Garry received his undergraduate degrees from Tufts University and the University of Maryland and medical degree from Georgetown University. After finishing his orthopedic surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center in 2017, he went on to complete an orthopedic trauma fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and an adult reconstruction fellowship at New York University Langone Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Garry has held posts as an orthopedic surgeon at both the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia, and the Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx and as an assistant professor of military medicine and orthopedic surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Maryland. He was also a naval flight officer in the U.S. Navy. Dr. Garry is active in academic research, having coauthored articles in a variety of publications, including Military Medicine, British Medical Journals Case Reports, and Indian Spine Journal.

Dr. Higgins serves as the Vice President and Regional Executive Medical Director of the New York Presbyterian Medical Group in Hudson Valley and Westchester. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President of Medical Affairs at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital since 2011. Over the years, Dr. Higgins has been active on many committees including Peer Review, Credentialing, Bylaws, Ethics and others.Apart from his administrative duties, Dr. Higgins has maintained a thriving medical practice with his wife, Ellen, a Nurse Practitioner in the NYPMG, for 26 years. He was a clinical preceptor at New York Medical College in Valhalla. Dr. Higgins is well respected in Hudson Valleys senior community and was appointed by the Governor of the State of New York to sit on New York State Coordinating Council for Services Related to Alzheimers Disease and Other Dementias. He is a past director of the Hudson Valley region of the Alzheimers Association.Dr. Higgins obtained his Medical Degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and did his residency and fellowship training at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
