Srikanth R. Boddu, MD, is an endovascular surgical neuroradiologist in the department of neurological surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens and an assistant professor of radiology in neurosurgery at Weil/ Cornell Medicine. Dr. Boddu is a pioneer in the minimally invasive endovascular treatment for pulsatile tinnitus & idiopathic intracranial Hypertension (IIH). His areas of clinical expertise include brain aneurysms, AVMs, arteriovenous fistulae, (DAVF) carotid stenosis, and intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis. Dr. Boddu also specializes in kyphoplasty and vertebroplasty for vertebral compression fractures in patients with osteoporosis, myeloma, and metastasis. Dr. Boddu treats patients at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens and Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Boddu earned his medical degree from JSS Medical College in Mysore, India. He completed his surgical residency, radiology residency, and interventional neuroradiology fellowship at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust in the United Kingdom. He is board certified surgeon (Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh) and radiologist (Royal College of Radiologists, London) & completed specialist training by the general medical council in the United Kingdom. Dr. Boddu further enhanced his training in the United States with a fellowship in diagnostic neuroradiology at Emory University in Atlanta and a three-year fellowship in interventional Neuroradiology at New York Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR), the American Board of Neuroradiology (ABNR), and the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) for focused practice in CNS endovascular surgery. Dr. Boddu is a senior member of scientific societies such as the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery (SNIS), an active researcher, involved in multiple research trials, widely published in peer-reviewed journals, as well as a passionate teacher and mentor. Dr. John Park is the Chief of the Department of Neurological Surgery at NewYorkPresbyterian Queens and a Professor of Clinical Neurological Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. A board-certified and award-winning neurosurgeon, Dr. Park has particular expertise in the treatment of brain and spinal tumors, CSF leaks, and degenerative disorders of the cervical and lumbar spine. While at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, Dr. Park developed a national reputation for the surgical treatment of low-grade gliomas and recurrent malignant gliomas and served as the principal neurosurgeon for patients enrolled in NCI clinical trials for malignant gliomas. Before joining the faculty at the Weill Cornell Brain and Spine Center, Dr, Park founded and served as the medical director of the multidisciplinary Brain and Spinal Tumor Program at Cottage Health in Santa Barbara, now the largest such program on the central coast of California. While in Santa Barbara, he also had an active practice providing neurosurgical treatment for patients with neck and low back pain and other disorders of the spine. At the Weill Cornell Brain and Spine Center, he is the co-Director of the CSF Leak Program. Dr. Park is the only neurosurgeon in Queens to be named a Castle Conolly Top Doctor as well as a New York Metro Super Doctor. Dr. Park received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude with honors, from Brown University and earned his MD and Ph.D. degrees at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Jeremy Wiygul, originally hailing from Texas, completed both his undergraduate and graduate degrees within Texas prior to completing his residency in Urology in Durham, NC at Duke University Medical Center. After which he spent two years at Boston Medical Center as an Attending Urologist, followed by completing a Pediatrics fellowship at LIJ/Cohen Children’s Medical Center (formerly Schneider Children’s Hospital). Once his fellowship concluded, Dr. Wiygul moved with his family back to Boston, where he spent five years as an Assistant Professor of Urology and Pediatrics at Tufts University School of Medicine, as well as an Attending Urologist at The Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. This included a final year and a half as Chief of Pediatric Urology, before moving back to New York and joining Weill Cornell Medicine/New York-Presbyterian Hospital- Queens.Dr. Wiygul is Board Certified in both Urology and Pediatric Urology, and is a member of the American Urological Association as well as the Society for Pediatric Urology. He treats the full spectrum of pediatric urologic disorders, with a special interest in complex hypospadias repairs as well as bladder exstrophy, a rare congenital disorder. He is skilled in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopy and the da Vinci robotic system, in treating a variety of urologic conditions.His research interests include developing surveillance protocols for kidney and bladder conditions. Dr. Wiygul finds the most important service he provides to all patients is treating each little boy or girl he meets like his own three daughters.
