Shawn Ma, MD is a physician specializing in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. She interprets mammography (2D, digital breast tomosynthesis, contrast-enhanced mammography), breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. She performs image-guided stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided biopsies as well as preoperative radioactive seed and wire localizations.Dr. Coffey’s research interests are broad and include contrast-enhanced mammography for screening women with elevated risk and breast imaging artificial intelligence. She serves on several breast imaging society committees and is a reviewer for radiology journals. Dr. Coffey is actively engaged in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. In recognition of her accomplishments, she was named a Fellow of the Society of Breast Imaging in 2025.
