Quincy Farm was a new addition at our local farmer's market, and their selection has been a little sparse compared to some of the more established farms... but the quality of their produce is out...

History
Luke Deikis & Cara Fraver started Quincy Farm in 2011, after five years of searching for the perfect piece of land. The farm was bought from the Wright family, who had in turn bought it from the British prior to the Revolutionary War... which makes Luke and Cara the first new family to own this farm since before the United States existed! The farm is protected by a conservation easement held by the Agricultural Stewardship Association that ensures this magnificent piece of ground will forever remain viable farmland and open space. The farm has expanded to steadily to now provide high-quality naturally-grown produce to several CSA's (Ballston Spa, Malta, Glens Falls) and four of the best markets in upstate New York: Glens Falls, Saratoga Springs, Schenectady, and Malta.
Specialties
Naturally-grown veggies for CSA (community supported agriculture) and farmers' markets. Also: A great connection to a real farm, cared-for by two hard-working wonderful people.
