Founded in 1896, Winthrop-University Hospital is a 590-plus-bed, nonprofit medical center that specializes in a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services. With a staff of more than 5,000 employees, the hospital has performed over 4,200 electrophysiological procedures and nearly 6,000 cardiac catheterizations.
