Dr. Peter Martin is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Lymphoma Program at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Martin completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology at McGill University. Prior to joining the faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College, he completed a Master's Degree in Clinical Investigation and Translational Research at the Weill Cornell School of Graduate Sciences. Dr. Martin specializes in caring for patients with lymphoma. His research focuses on the clinical investigation of new and promising therapies, and he passionately believes that clinical trials are the gateway to a better future. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology. He is board certified in Hematology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He has received awards and funding from the National Cancer Institute, the National Cancer Institute of Canada, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Lymphoma Research Foundation, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Society for Clinical Oncology for his research. He serves on several national committees where he has been tasked with developing practice guidelines and quality measures pertaining to liver disease. He has been an investigator in numerous clinical trials and a frequently invited speaker. Dr. Jesudian has published over 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts and serves on the editorial board of the journal Liver Transplantation. An avid medical educator, he has mentored many medical students, residents and fellows in Hepatology. He has also received honorary fellowships from the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (FAASLD), the American Gastroenterological Association (AGAF) and the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG).
