Dr. Peter Martin is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Lymphoma Program at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Martin completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology at McGill University. Prior to joining the faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College, he completed a Master's Degree in Clinical Investigation and Translational Research at the Weill Cornell School of Graduate Sciences. Dr. Martin specializes in caring for patients with lymphoma. His research focuses on the clinical investigation of new and promising therapies, and he passionately believes that clinical trials are the gateway to a better future. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology. Dr. Canaani received his MD from The University of Tel Aviv School of Medicine followed by residency in Internal Medicine at The Tel Aviv Medical Center, and laboratory research at the Weizmann Institute of Science. He completed a clinical fellowship in hematology/oncology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently served as the director of the Adult Leukemia Program of The Sheba Medical Center. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine caring for patients with blood cancers as part of the NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn.
