History
New York Hung Ga has been around since 1996, first as the Chelsea Branch of Yee's Hung Ga International Kung Fu Association, then later on as an independent school. All of our instructors are volunteers; we do it because we love the Hung Ga style and want to propagate the art. All the money made is pumped right back into the operation of the school.
Specialties
New York Hung Ga Kung Fu specialize in Traditional Southern Shaolin 5-Animal kung fu. We train in both long and short range fighting, Qi Gung breathing, Forms, San Da kickboxing, and weapons forms.
