We specialize in short to medium production runs. Other services include research and development projects, prototypes, and light welding and fabrication. Prototype Manufacturing Corporation began as a one man, part time business in the basement of the home of our parents, Richard M. and Marjorie Christie. The business was incorporated in 1967 and became a full time venture when equipment was moved into the garage. After several moves into small, rented manufacturing spaces, Richard and Marjorie moved the business in 1972 to our present location in North Tonawanda. Our father instilled in us a sense of commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and superior customer service. To this day, we take pride in continuing to provide our customers the same quality and customer service that was so important to our father.

Located in Niagara Falls, N.Y., the company provides an array of services, such as industrial repair, reconditioning, parts manufacturing, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) replacement, computer numerical control (CNC) precision, heavy duty machining, welding and corrugated tubing, to name a few. Its additional services include processing, such as heat-treating, grinding and metal finishing. The company caters to Abrasives, Aerospace, Chemical, Fibers, Oil, Motion, Red Metals and Steel Industries. The firm has an in-house facility of 30,000 square feet.
