History

Dr. Joshua Schwimmer is a board-certified nephrologist and internist -- a kidney & blood pressure specialist and general medicine doctor for adults -- based in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. An award-winning teacher, Dr. Schwimmer trained at the University of Rochester Medical Center and Strong Memorial Hospital and completed an advanced fellowship in nephrology at the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. He is currently Assistant Director of Nephrology at Lenox Hill Hospital, an Attending Physician at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, a Lecturer at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the NYU School of Medicine, and has published more than 25 scientific papers, book chapters, interviews, and abstracts. He works together with Dr. Mark Gardenswartz, FACP. Dr. Schwimmer receives outstanding reviews from patients and believes in using technology to improve health care.
