HistoryThis business is the private piano studio of instructor Brian Trahan. Brian has been teaching piano intensively for 11+ years, and studying himself for 18+ years. He has won numerous piano competitions and awards for classical piano, and studying with Shirley Harris at the Music Institute of Chicago, professor Louis Nagel, and jazz with Geri Allen at the University of Michigan. From November 2012 to April 2013, he taught private piano lessons at J&R Music and Computer World in lower Manhattan, and though J&R's musical instrument store went out of business, many of his students have chosen to continue studying with him at Perfect Time.
