Edgemont School District

Edgemont Junior-Senior High School, located in Scarsdale, N.Y., is ethnically and culturally diverse, enrolling more than 900 students from over 40 countries worldwide. Its program offers classes in grades seven through 12. It provides a traditional academic program and a comprehensive curriculum that prepares students for college study and offers more than 10 different advanced placement courses. It sends almost all of its graduates to four-year colleges, including all Ivy League institutions and many other highly competitive colleges and universities. Its students avail of a diverse range of extracurricular activities, including a nationally ranked debate team, literary magazines, school newspaper, drama and musical theater programs, an expansive music program, community service organizations and more than 50 different interscholastic sports teams, including a three-time state champion football team.
