Hastings High School

The Farragut Middle School, located in Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y., provides education to students in grades five through eight. Its nurturing environment and structured programs offer opportunities for the transition from elementary to high school. The curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, social studies, math, science, foreign language, physical education and health, art, home and careers, technology and music appreciation. In addition, it offers special education classes, accelerated programs and a social and emotional learning program that teaches students how to manage their emotions and be sensitive to others. It provides several extracurricular opportunities through its junior student council, computer club, orchestra, chorus and band, student newspaper, theater, foreign language clubs and various interscholastic sports programs.
