Corina Phan, NP

Victoria is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who provides gynecological and obstetric care. She brings a strong foundation principled in nursing theory and practice to her role. Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Victoria graduated with honors from Molloy University in Nursing in 2016. She worked as a cardiac nurse at Northwell Health for two years, then joined the Labor and Delivery team at NewYork-Presbyterian. From 2018-2024, Victoria cared for women and their families through the joys and challenges of childbirth while honing her skills in maternal and fetal health, newborn care, and emergency response. In 2023, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Long Island University with her Master of Science in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is driven to empower women to make informed decisions about their reproductive health and to support them in achieving their health goals. Victoria currently resides in New York City with her fiancée and their dog, Bo.

Dr. Christina Shayevitz received her B.A. degree from University of California, San Diego in 2008, on the Dean’s Honor Roll. She wished for change in seasons and snow, and moved to Syracuse, New York where she attended SUNY Upstate Medical University. Following the completion of her medical degree, she attended residency in Adult Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Beth Israel where she also served as the Co-Chair of the MSBI House Staff Committee. She fell in love with fast-pace and multicultural New York, and stayed for a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at NYU/Bellevue Hospital. Dr. Shayevitz also completed the Psychodynamic Therapy Certification Course provided by the New York Medical College Psychoanalytic Program. She now resides in Financial District and is happy to be a part of the Consultation-Liaison Service at the lower Manhattan campus.

Dr. Zhanna Fridel is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from New York University. She received her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in 2000. Dr. Fridel then completed her residency training at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York in 2004.Dr. Fridel participated in research from 1996-2004 and published 2 papers. Functional Inactivation of the Lateral and Basal Nuclei of the Amygdala by Muscimol Infusion, (Muller J., Corodimas K.P., Fridel Z., and Le Doux J.E, Behavioral Neuroscience, 111:683-691, 1997).Are Elevated Fetal Nucleated Red Blood Cell Counts an Indirect Reflection of Enhanced Erythropoietin Activity? (Ferber, Fridel, Weissman-Brenner, Minior and Divon, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, May 2004).Dr. Fridel has been in private practice at Lenox Hill Hospital and worked as an Attending physician in faculty practice at St Vincents Hospital and New York Downtown Hospital prior to joining the faculty at Weill Cornell. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.Dr. Fridel provides complete care in all aspects of general obstetrics and gynecology. She manages normal and high risk pregnancies, performs laparoscopic surgeries for benign gynecologic conditions, provides contraceptive and STD counseling and preventive care for women of all ages from puberty to menopause.She believes in providing a warm, friendly, open and supportive office environment. Dr. Fridel is fluent in Russian and proficient in Spanish.
