Carol Lederman, MD

Dr. Vainshtein leads WPH's stereotactic radiosurgery program and specializes in the management of head and neck, lung, esophageal, prostate, bladder, pancreaticobiliary, liver, stomach, anorectal, and brain and spine cancers, with experience in the treatment of lymphomas, sarcomas, breast, and gynecological cancers. He has expertise in the use of numerous advanced radiotherapy treatment techniques, including intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT), image guided radiation therapy (IGRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic ablative radiotherapy/stereotactic body radiotherapy (SABR/SBRT) and 3D-conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT)

Dr. Owen A. O'Connor is internationally renowned for his expertise on the diagnosis and treatment of all forms of lymphoma, with over 25 years of experience in academic medicine. He has invented and pioneered the development of several first in class drugs for the treatment of lymphoma, including one he co-invented for T-cell lymphoma which has now been approved in over 35 countries around the world. He has held several prestigious leadership positions at the major cancer centers in New York City, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York University Medical Center, and Cornell and Columbia University Medical Centers.

Dr. Zack graduated from New York Medical College and finished her residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. She received Fellowship training in Medical Oncology and Hematology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, and she is board certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Internal Medicine. In 2012, Dr. Zack's research on the gene expression in melanoma was presented at respected national research conferences, and most recently, she published her work on promising new chemotherapeutic agents for managing metastatic breast cancer.. Dr. Zack has been nominated by her colleagues and has been the recipient of Castle & Connolly's Top Doctor Award in 2016 and 2017.
