Arthur Marc Magun, MD

Dr. Ascherman is Site Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery and a Professor of Surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He obtained his B.A. degree from Harvard University, and his M.D. from Columbia University’s Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He then completed his general and plastic surgery training at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. In addition, he completed a craniofacial fellowship in Paris. With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Jeffrey Ascherman, Site Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery, is a highly regarded plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in procedures that enhance appearance while preserving function and balance. Dr. Ronald Wapner is the Director of Reproductive Genetics and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Prior to Columbia University, Dr. Wapner was a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Drexel University College of Medicine and taught at Thomas Jefferson University for 22 years where he also served as the Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Wapner is an internationally known physician and researcher specializing in reproductive genetics. He pioneered the development of chorionic villus sampling (CVS) and multi-fetal reduction. He has authored or co-authored over 450 publications and he has been an active investigator in the area of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM).

Marc S. Eisenberg, MD is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Columbia University Medical Center and an Attending Physician at Columbia University Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He is a clinical cardiologist with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease in adults; specializing in cardiac stress testing and echocardiography. His clinical interests also include the accurate diagnosis and treatment of hypertension and evaluating the cardiovascular manifestations of hypertension. Dr. Eisenberg is a member of the ColumbiaDoctors Hypertension Center, a multi-disciplinary center of excellence that provides high-quality care and state-of-the-art diagnostic testing for patients with hypertension. Dr. Eisenberg received his Doctor of Medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University in 1991. He completed his Post-Doctoral Residency and Fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology.
