History

It all started with a desire to connect engaged couples to local New Mexico businesses that love servicing weddings. Shauna and Jacob Pointer purchased the Perfect Wedding Guide for New Mexico from Jeff Hooten in 2006 and have been working with a phenomenal team of wedding experts since then. In February 2020, we founded and re-branded with a renewed vision as Wedding Collective New Mexico. We publish our free wedding magazine twice a year, host 4 wedding shows/events, and create an engaging online experience through our website and mobile app at weddingcollectivenm.com, as well as feature blog and social media inspiration.

Wedding Collective New Mexico is a wedding planning experience for modern New Mexicans in love. We foster connections between engaged couples and the local wedding community through our portable print magazine, mobile app, online planning platform at weddingcollectivenm.com, and in-person at live wedding shows hosted throughout the year.
