Owned and operated by Chef Mark Kiffin, winner of the James Beard award for Best Chef of the Southwest 2005, celebrates his 25th anniversary of ownership in 2025. In 2022, Michelin-trained Executive Chef, Weston Ludeke, joined the team. We went to The Compound for an event in Santa Fe. As a vegetarian dishes can be tricky I'm sure. Our waitress rushed out of the gate and asked what we wanted for dinner as soon as we were seated....

What a great time we had sitting in the Compound Bar having dinner and drinks. Make sure to have a reservation because the bar is very intimate and small but you definitely want to be sitting...

Don't make this mistake . . . if they ask if you would like water, be sure and ask how much it will cost. We had a table of eight and they asked what we wanted to drink, we all said water. Well...
