Eric M. Black, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon focusing on a variety of overuse, sports and traumatic injuries. Dr. Black's expertise includes advanced arthroscopic surgery, reconstructive surgery, replacement surgery and fractures surgery of the shoulder and elbow. He has advanced knowledge and skills in complex rotator cuff repairs, instability surgery and shoulder replacements. Dr. Black has additional expertise in complex fractures care from his experience as Chief Resident of the Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital Orthopaedic Trauma service. He has worked with a large, diverse patient population, including professional athletes as well as patients with major and minor trauma, and end-stage arthritis. He is a consultant reviewer for Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery and the American Journal of Sports Medicine. He has delivered local, regional and national invited presentations on topics in his field, including reverse shoulder replacement, minimally invasive rotator cuff repair, complex upper extremity fracturess and value-driven shoulder surgery.Dr. Black is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Medical Association and the Mid-Atlantic Shoulder and Elbow Society. A recipient of the Harvard College Scholarship, he has been honored with the William H. Thomas Award for overall best orthopedic resident at the end of his residency. Dr. Black has previously been nominated for the Charles S. Neer Award, the highest honor for research in shoulder and elbow surgery.A native of Morris County, Dr. Black is pleased to bring his expertise to area residents. When he is not working with his patients, he enjoys swimming, playing tennis with his wife and spending time with his daughter and son.

Kristen Eleftheriou, PA is a member of Summit Health's Urgent Care Center team. Prior to joining Summit Health, Ms. Eleftheriou worked as Physician Assistant in the Emergency Departments of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, RWJBarnabas Rahway, and JFK Medical Center in Edison. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants.

Olivia Dudley, PA-C is a member of Summit Health's Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team. Ms. Dudley works closely with orthopedic surgeons during procedures, including total joint replacements and surgeries to address orthopedic trauma and sports medicine-related conditions. She is skilled in nonoperative management of acute orthopedic injuries and joint preservation, and she is knowledgeable in injury prevention strategies.Ms. Dudley is passionate about delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. She is attuned to her patients needs and goals and works to meet them through treatment plans rooted in current, evidence-based medicine.Ms. Dudley has firsthand experience with orthopedic care, having suffered a torn ACL while playing NCAA Division I basketball and later undergoing reconstructive knee surgery. College athletics also allowed interaction with an orthopedic team physician, which inspired her career pursuits and further fueled her desire to serve athletes and non-athletes alike. I love the ability to help restore lost or compromised function and improve a patients quality of life by improving their mobility, she says.In her free time, Ms. Dudley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing basketball, going to the gym, and unwinding at the beach.
