He is the recipient of numerous research grants (including prestigious funding from the NIH), serves on the editorial board of several electrophysiology journals (including Heart Rhythm, published by the Heart Rhythm Society) and is currently on the electrophysiology subcommittee of the American Board of Internal Medicine preparing board questions for his peers. He is a fellow in several professional societies including the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, the European Society of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society. He currently serves as President of the International Society of Holter and Noninvasive Electrocardiology.Dr. Steinberg has been recognized by his peers as a Top Doctor in New York Magazine for numerous years, and was the only New Jersey electrophysiologist selected in 2016.
