Stephanie J. Cummings-Becker, MD, specializes in a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic care.

During her residency, Dr. Cummings-Becker was President and Secretary of the Atlantic Health System Resident Council. She also was Resident Representative to the Atlantic Health System Graduate Medical Education Committee, which oversees all residency training programs throughout the hospital system. She has been a member of the Morristown Medical Center Obstetrics and Gynecology Quality and Safety Committee and Atlantic Health Quality Improvement Collaborative.

Dr. Cummings-Becker is a Junior Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.

Before completing her MD, Dr. Cummings-Becker was involved with the International Mission on Medicine in South Africa. During medical school, she volunteered at the Queen Elizabeth Home for Children in Grenada, West Indies.

"Obstetrics and gynecology is the only field that focuses on a woman's health throughout her lifetime - an aspect of the profession I find especially gratifying," says Dr. Cummings-Becker. "In addition to the privilege of developing long-term relationships with my patients, I enjoy the variety of care obstetrics and gynecology allows me. I believe in treating each patient as a whole, with thoughtful consideration and compassion for her physical and mental well-being."

When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Cummings-Becker enjoys spending time with her family and friends, music, reading, yoga, travel, and attending sporting events.
