Stephanie J. Cummings-Becker, MD, specializes in a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic care.During her residency, Dr. Cummings-Becker was President and Secretary of the Atlantic Health System Resident Council. She also was Resident Representative to the Atlantic Health System Graduate Medical Education Committee, which oversees all residency training programs throughout the hospital system. She has been a member of the Morristown Medical Center Obstetrics and Gynecology Quality and Safety Committee and Atlantic Health Quality Improvement Collaborative.Dr. Cummings-Becker is a Junior Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.Before completing her MD, Dr. Cummings-Becker was involved with the International Mission on Medicine in South Africa. During medical school, she volunteered at the Queen Elizabeth Home for Children in Grenada, West Indies."Obstetrics and gynecology is the only field that focuses on a woman's health throughout her lifetime - an aspect of the profession I find especially gratifying," says Dr. Cummings-Becker. "In addition to the privilege of developing long-term relationships with my patients, I enjoy the variety of care obstetrics and gynecology allows me. I believe in treating each patient as a whole, with thoughtful consideration and compassion for her physical and mental well-being."When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Cummings-Becker enjoys spending time with her family and friends, music, reading, yoga, travel, and attending sporting events.

With more than 25 years' experience in pediatrics and adolescent medicine, Geraldine M. Summa, MD, FAAP, considers all aspects of her patients' mental health, physical health, family relationships, and environmental factors when diagnosing and treating them. Whenever possible, Dr. Summa advocates natural, safe approaches to promote health in children.In addition to her practice with Summit Health, Dr. Summa participates in volunteer medical missions that help infants, children, and single mothers. She has been a regional cable television "kids' doc," providing information about health issues that affect children. She also delivers invited community lectures and presentations about infant / toddler and parenting concerns and the effects of media in children.Dr. Summa says, "Raising 3 boys has greatly increased my knowledge and understanding about all aspects of caring for children and adolescents." She adds, "While growing up, my family doctor's effective, compassionate approach to healing sparked my desire to become a doctor. I feel grateful to work at Summit Health where I am part of an outstanding pediatric and adolescent medical team that delivers state-of-the-art care with the personal attention of a small-practice."Dr. Summa is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been featured in the New Jersey Family "NJ's Favorite Kids' Docs" listings.When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Summa enjoys spending time with her family.
